Guano Organic Fertilizer supplies certified organic Cormorant seabird guano products everywhere in South Africa. Guano is very rich in nitrogen, phosphate and potassium which are the key nutrients essential for plant growth. Why Guano
Guano is the excrement (faeces and urine) of seabirds. It is an excellent source of natural fertilizer due to its high concentration of nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium. What’s more, it doesn’t smell. Also, guano usually contains all the other elements a plant needs for growth like sulphur, calcium, magnesium, chloride, boron, molybdenum iron, manganese, zinc, and copper. While chemical fertilizer can actually damage crop soil over time, this organic manure can help to regenerate the soil. If soil is deficient in organic matter, guano can make it more productive and add all the organic nutrients needed in the soil.
In South Africa, we collect guano from the Cormorant seabirds that feed mostly on fish as well as small amphibians and crustaceans providing the excellent quality of guano. At Guano Organic Fertilizer, the birds’ organic manure is sustainably gathered by scraping. We adhere to strict production processes and do not add any chemicals to the guano we collect, ensuring the integrity of the natural fertilizer.
